6:43 pm - Golly, but that was a dumb thing to do....
Note to self:

11:44 am - And the account is now permanent
Well, I've finally taken the plunge. After weeks of desultory pottling about the land of IJ, I decided this morning that one could do worse than financially supporting IJ -- so I did. However, now that I've done it, I really would like to customize the look of my journal and find some HP icons to add to my userpics. I'm wildly inept at anything remotely artistically creative and have relied upon the generosity of creative friends to take pity on my ineptitude. I had a beautiful Kingdom of Heaven (Balian) layout over at LJ, but I wanted this journal to be a HP themed, preferably Harry/Draco/Severus. If anyone out there could point me in the direction of artistic creativity here at IJ, I'd be V. grateful.

Well, now I must be off to walk Orlando (the dog) in an ongoing effort to recover after surgery. This is the beginning of the 3rd week post-surgery. My mobility and flexibility are certainly improving, but the ol' stamina is still pretty dubious. Many naps/rest periods are required, but I guess that's to be expected after a full hysterectomy. I'll just have to continue to slowly increase my levels of activity and be patient. Orlando, at any rate, is certainly enjoying all of these walks -- even if they aren't wildly long.
